Recorded way past bed-time over a series of Tuesdays (or was it Wednesdays, or Mondays...), this stripped down catalogue of signature pieces sounds like musings in the night, if Tom Waits were a sober female philosophy student.

Album Notes

The sound and style on this album is best described as unfinished musings, sketched out in verse-chorus-verse-chorus, perhaps a bridge. The subject is thought - how, what, why, when. The elements are vocals and guitar. I write songs to get the buzz of a melody or lyric out of her head before theyI implode. This album is a collection of such manifestations between 1994 and 2000; before wandering off to the island of Zanzibar, not trusting I might ever return, either to NY or to these songs. (But we always return, don't we). Hope you enjoy and hear something not originally contemplated when the song was written. Thanks for the conversation.
