U-Ka is a band Formed by Austrlian Singer/Songwriter Naomi Louise Warne, Piano and Keyboards. The Band Features Charles Neville on Saxophone from the "Neville Brothers". Gregory Slay on Drums from the band "Remy Zero". Cedric Le Moyne on Bass from the band "Remy Zero". Jeff Young on Hammond Organ, Keyboards, Singer, keyboard phenom to the biggies Sting, Alaniis Morrissette, Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen. Kevin Longden on Guitars, hired gun/axe for Tv Movies and John Fogerty. Jorgoen Carlsson on Bass as well. The obvious Pedigree of this band is reminiscant of the great Jazz Ensembles from the past. All the songs on this Great CD were written by Naomi Louise Warne & Nicholas Charles, the other members Contributing along the way; adding their own special touches. Producing an Album of original material presented in an Original sound; all U-Ka. Weaving the listener through a sound fest of Unforgettable Songs; , based in the Blues; texturally moody; some Jazz influences and a bit of rock; a Modern 21st Century Renaissance Sound Scape. Naomi is regarded as one of the greatest Blues singers and songwriters from Australia, her songs being showcased in TV, Plays and the Sydney Olympics to name a few. A truly great Musical Experience.
