Tommy hits the mark with a strong debut!
author: Rhyder Music Review
Tommy the Uk Cowboy's debut CD is a strong, enjyable foray into the country genre. It is refreshing to hear tunes that aren't straight out of the Nashville music factory, yet still hold true to the themes that keep the spirit of country alive.
The standout cuts are quite obvious: "Live For Now", "Old Porch Swing", and "Closin' Time" all show the marks of classic hits with great melodies and universal themes. As singles, these three cuts alone have the backbone to establish this cowboy as a true contender in a genre where song choices are everything.
Overall, it's an impressive first time out, Tommy's interpretations and stylings are a worthwhile buy. If he sticks to what's working for him, this critic doesn't expect the sophomore jinx to plague the UK Cowboy one bit!
