Ulcer is a hard hitting "techno industrial" band combining loops, samples, keyboards, live guitar, and fluid vocals, that was formed in Las Cruces, NM in 1994 by, Mike Barber and Dennis Moorhead. After releasing their first self titled CD at the end of '94, they went on to play In Las Cruces, El Paso, Tx, and Alb., NM. In 1995, Ulcer released a follow up CD titled "Crawl" which was followed by On Your Knees in 1998 before relocating in Portland, Or. where they currently reside. Originally what started as just a synth band, Ulcer tried many guitarist before finally uniting with another Las Cruces local, Bobby Jones who made his debut on "On Your Knees."

The cds that I purchased, Crawl and On your Knees is awesome! The song "Daddy" is awesome to dance to. I often hear it in the club I go to. I'm getting more and more people into it and it should be easier to find. Thanks, Katie
