When I stumble on music like this, I question the industry..Why is ULTRALUST not one of the big bands out there? As far as I know, I never seen or heard this before, and it's such a shame!! The CD has everything!Great songs,great voice and if it's true what I read in the other review, this artist doeas it all himself..? Great stuff man!

Great songs, great singer, an excellent album

I really enjoy this collection of catchy, edgy songs. Des has some U2 and some Lenny but the sound is his own. A uniquie voice, and an album that you can listen to over and again.

Don`t be shy if it`s just Ultralust!!!!

In a perfect world,Ultralust or the artist formely known as Des.Should be the band/artist of the moment,the fact that he`s doing it off his own back is testament to the talent and sheer class of what his man has produced.Did somebody say something about the fact that this cd is written,arranged,performed and produced by the man himself.
As with most artist`s,they can`t get out of their bedrooms,garage,studio or trailer parks without the help of people like you.The masterplan has to be `With a little help from my friends.If there`s one cd you should get to start the year 2005 on a postive note, this is the one.This story could admittedly go any which way.You could ignore this cd as just another do-it-yourself musician.Or you could have a copy of a stunning debut,that the majors ignored.
O.K it may even be alittle in the mainstream for me at times.But I grew up with the mainstream Radio like everyone else did.And I can still hear great music when it`s played as well as this.So if you like U2,David Bowie,Lenny Kravitz and people like Butch Walker you`d be a fool to pass this cd by.
Have I sold this cd too you yet! all I can say is that I live in the U.K.So if somebody in the U.K had this masterpiece on their hands.The name Ultralust would have it`s own section in the biggest retail stores.So come on America smell the Ultralust!!!!
