ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This music is different. It is the CokeZero (sort of) of music. Heart-warming without the ‘mushy’. Intelligent without the airs and graces or the ‘whah?’. Deep without the ‘lows’. Eclectic without the ‘what’s going on here!?’ You get the picture.

The groove is in tact. Featuring some of the best musicians from around the globe and directed by guitar virtuoso and general music wonder Femi Temowo, it has to be.

U’mau’s fusion of Folk, Jazz and what she calls ‘Afri-Brazilian’ rhythm really cuts across listeners who previously thought their tastes could never incorporate some or all of these genres. It’s just Life Music.

Soul Culture Magazine calls it ‘classy’, ‘groove-worthy’ and ‘refreshingly difficult to pigeon-hole’.

Many other sources say it’s: ‘got so much energy!’, ‘amazing’, ‘so up-beat’, ‘unique’, ‘inspiring’

The stories? Well, the songs are a lot of people’s stories. . You will enjoy this.
