“Umoja”, meaning “unity” in the Swahili language. Umoja Gaelica is a musical concept that has been generated by world class African American and Celtic artists from Scotland, Ireland and the United States. Promoting the clear poignant message of ‘Peace through Unity’, the ‘Umoja Gaelica’ team deliver music with unique style and passion.

Leading the performance is international Gospel sensation, Lea Gilmore. Lea is a moving and passionate vocalist who is committed to human rights in the USA and around the world. She has made a significant impact to thousands of people’s lives internationally through her music, and was recently recognised by popular American publication, Essence magazine, as one of the “25 Women Shaping The World”.

With the help of an award winning team of musicians, Lea has created a musical performance that pushes musical boundaries, while promoting peace, unity, justice and tolerance for all.

Exciting music!
