Album Notes

"Awesome melodies." "Musically great!!!
"Great in every way." - National Association of Christian Artists and Songwriters (NACAS), Nashville.

"My songs incorporate biblical principles and concepts. My faith in God and my belief in Jesus Christ as my savior are key to my songs. I want my music to inspire, convict, uplift, encourage, and make people smile." - Cindi Umstadt

From comfortable finger picking folk melodies to high energy pop arrangements, Umstadt's Christian/adult inspiration songs offer solace and inspiration for all who listen. Cindi's music was born early when she began playing guitar at the age of six and wrote her first original folk song as a 10-year-old in her East Central Wisconsin hometown.

Umstadt's Christian energy emerged in 2000 when she released her first solo project, "So Many Roads", filled with uplifting lyrics and soothing melodies, which showcased her organic musical style.

For her current release, "Don't Let Me Doubt" Umstadt has teamed with lead guitarist Cliff Jergensen, vocalist Darren Macdonald (both from the Believers) and bassist Steve Riley (Dash Rip Rock and Shaken not Stirred) for the 12-song cd. Stacked vocals, percussion and thick guitar textures add drive yet the project still offers Umstadt's tender folk style.

You don't want to miss the warm vocals, finger-style guitar, and honest lyrics of Cindi's music!!
