Growing slowly but steadily, and then sluffing off like a wart, Uncle Zygote fell clumsily into the cruel but forgiving arms of the Edmonton music scence in 2003 with his self titled debut offering. The EP was recorded in 7 basements and 3 apartments in and around Edmonton Alberta (that equals 0.5 songs per residence). The multi instrumentalist/producer has been quoted" it's easy to play everything, just don't expect to play anything well". With guest musicians such as All Torso(drums) and Flutter Tongue(flute), Uncle Z is confident his debut EP will strike a chord with all of his freaky little nocturnal nieces and nephews. Let Uncle Zygote batter your boiling brains with the belligerence of his belligerent bongo riffing. Watch for Uncle's world tour in 2005.
