ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Formed in the basement of drummer Reid Wilkinson's parents house in late 2011."The band's sound was a big old middle finger to what's popular, and a grand homage to their musical roots. Their sound is a mix of grunge, modern rock and some bluesy overtones. If I had to describe it, I’d say it’s a mixture of Candlebox, Fuel and maybe even a little Seven Mary Three with some Nirvana sprinkled on top," says Jonathan Newsome of Unsung Melody. Founding members Crowder and Wilkinson, along with guitar player Wade England have roots that are sunk deep into the grunge era of music. Couple that with angst and determination, this band has been tearing the roof off venues all across the mid eastern states. It all started with a 4 song demo tracked in the basement studio of guitar player Wade England. They guys spent hours burning disc after disc and passing them out through out the home town area, where the songs quickly took hold and had people hooked. Undead Anna hit the studio in late 2012, Working along side of engineer Ryan "Jones" Gorman. Over the course of 3 months they recorded a debut album the "old fashioned" way that really screams what these guys are all about. No drum machines used, no amp simulators or auto-tune. With influences such as Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Bush, Pearl Jam, Nirvana etc... it's easy to see where they get their sound. With the self titled debut album set to release very soon, you can get ready to hear Undead Anna very soon!!
