It's New Year's Eve 2006, and what pray tell are you to do? Should you go to a wacky fantasy party where everyone is dressed up as acid tripping yuppies, or jam to bring in the New Year? Why not both? And that's how this album was created, or mostly. Some of the tracks were developed earlier than New Year's and yet they all seem apropos to bringing in the New Year, or the four billion year orbital cycle of the Moon, Jupiter's fickleness with it's own atmospheric oddities, or the gaseous rotation of the plasma bands on the Sun. Why don’t we leave it up to your imagination to decide on the course of events in and out of our control! Viva la loco musica!

"Elf Eve" starts out with Michael Blumenstock invoking a heavy metal troll like effect on guitar that is further enhanced on the primordial sounding "Precambrian." Michael creates a shimmering textural and a rather ethereal whale sounding lead guitar on "Prelude: I Look for Her.” On "I Look For Her" he adds haunting vocals. Gary Whitmore’s funky bass provides an intriguing rhythm section on these songs. For the four tunes "Bed of Nails," "Are They Listening," "Seems Like Only Yesterday," and "Is This The Entrance To You," Gary uses his dark vocals to elicit thought provoking ideas on the mysteries of the emotional neural realm. Michael provides a fusion bass sound at times to compliment Gary's primordial guitar sound on the last three tracks. Jonathan Blasco is here again to create his unique and thunderous percussive sound throughout the album.
