UNI is an eclectic mix of individual talents, that together form a special recipe of unique Hip Hop flava'. UNI has been bringin heat since the fall of 1999. Once 8-Deep, U.N.I. is now 4-STRONG. Emerging from what haters celebrated as ruin BIGGER BETTER & HOTTER THAN EVER!

Battling all adversity, & establishing themselves as one of the most well known and well received underground crews in the Chi. At one time hosting their own heavily attended event dubbed "Da Underground" at the now defunct Essence of Life on East Garfield Blvd., Chicago, IL.

Debut project "U Told Me" has attracted the industry's attention with mention of the "industry ready" production. And the hot, skillful lyrical content.

Piero: A founding member of UNI; is not just an emcee he is the head of Chicago's newest production outfit; Shakedown Productions. With an earnest respect for music, and an expansive knowledge of it's complexities he's certain to soon join the ranks of today's Hip Hop production elite. Responsible for the production of all UNI's current tracks, he is a large percentage of what makes UNI one of the most promising hip hop acts to be found anywhere right now.

Isis a.k.a. JackTrip: The 1st female member of UNI, at first glance doesn't appear to be much of a threat behind the mic, but don't get it twisted this girl is no joke. She's bout' nothing but business. She's part of a new wave of female emcees who are going to reset the standards by which female emcees are measured.

Fatal Verses: Was one of the last to join this circle of hip hop "super friends". But she's not at all last in skill or talent. As her name suggests her flow is dangerous. If rhymes could be considered weapons; hers would need to be registered with law enforcement.

Paradox (PDX): Has established himself as an important cog in this intricate machine. He's the clincher, the finishing touch if you will. Just when you think this group has given everything it's got, out steps PDX to prove you wrong. Equipped with an extensive vocabulary, & a versatile style of flow PDX is nothing short of a lyrical mastermind.
