Well what can we say....this album has proven to be one of the most amazing and rewarding things ever. Hard work, long hours, no social interaction...but worth it. "Worth The Risk"....yes we finally decided on a name for our album. After recording all of these tracks in one week, we can honestly say that we have a great finished product. It's always so hard to capture the magic of on-stage interaction in the studio but we did it. This 14 track album with 7 Alan Peterson originals and 7 Steve Thompson originals is our way of proving that we want to show you guys as much of ourselves as we can. There is an 8 page booklet with every lyric in it as well as some cool photos and such, and we promise that the "thank you's" make for some good reading. Buy this album....listen to it....read it...take in every little nuance of it and you will have given us one of the greatest compliments in the world. We just want to share emotions....stories....tears.... laughs....smiles.... frowns...hugs....kisses.... rejection.....acceptance....love...LIFE. Biography:

Union County formed in 2005 and consists of Alan Peterson and Steve Thompson. Alan and Steve were friends through college at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where they were both music industry majors. Alan was already an accomplished musician and had been writing for years with no real outlet for his creativity. Steve was in a Christian Rock Band called The Road and had been writing for years with no outlet for his more mainstream music. Upon one evening of cigar smoking and telling of love quandaries...they decided to combine their musical stylings to give an outlet for their feelings to an audience of people looking for someone to identify with. Union County is the result of years of living, learning, and loving. More than that...this is a band dedicated to telling people about the pain and agony of life as well as the joy and splendor. The sorrow and the happiness mixing together to form one sweet balance of life. This album is the realization of a dream. Every word on this record comes straight from the heart. Listen to every lyric...take in every little detail and we promise that you won't be sorry that you did.
