Album Notes

The UW MadHatters are a men's a cappella group based out of Madison, WI. Cheer on Tap, their fifth studio album, is their first shot at a Holiday album. All students at UW-Madison, the MadHatters have been around since 1997. The group has toured internationally, exciting audiences with their unique music and spontaneous onstage antics. Cheer on Tap features 2 tracks recorded in a church, showcasing the group's true performance sound. "Wisconsin Christmas," is an original track by member David Redick, talking about all of the ways people in Wisconsin celebrate Christmas. "Jingle Bell Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," is a mashup of 4 Christmas songs, "Jingle Bells," "Jingle Bell Rock," "Last Christmas," and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," put together in an exciting unique track you won't want to miss. The MadHatters make sure to be representative with their Holiday album with an arrangement of the traditional Chanukah song, "Mi Y'Malel". No matter what you're looking for this Holiday season, Cheer on Tap has something for you.
