ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This debut album from Unkempt shows masterful execution of creating a melodic, yet technical, cross-genre journey through classic to new-age metal. The beautiful guitar tones and meaty bass lines converge into huge walls of sound only to be pummeled by double-bass and powerful vocals. "In Articulo Mortis" boasts incendiary guitar riffs reminiscent of old Iron Maiden and classic Slayer mixed with the beat down theory of modern breakdowns. The vocals dust the alblum with moments of distilled harmony amidst high screams and low guttural rumbles like those heard from Randy Blyth of Lamb of God. All of this mixed with meaningful lyrics and a ballad-like ending make this record a must-have for any music collection.

Unkempt:
"An obvious manifestation of the neuroses associated with five severely repressed longings of a vibratos nature, coupled with the eroticization of implements of mass-destruction typically found in declining, hysterical minds."

“Simply put…They’re the TITS!!”
