ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Unkle Nancy and the Family Jewels perform high energy pirate folk rock w/ blues, country and gypsy influeneces. The front man's gritty vocals draw immediate comparisons: Jason Webley and Tom Waits, while the band's cello, upright bass, washboard and glossy backup vox truly create a sound all its own

Fun, Fun, Fun
This album is just about as good as it gets. This is people making music solely for the love of music. Just about every song is it's own barrel of fun. I guarantee you'll never see a song with the chorus of, "Hey hey, my my, you're an asshole, you fuckin' douche bag piece of shit," on any other album. And trust me, you'll want to sing along.
Each song is interesting and different and has a lovely, upbeat, swashbuckling sound to it. Buy the album, support this hardworking, real artist, and enjoy some amazing music. This isn't the only album either. Unkle Nancy has tons of music (most of it available for free) on his site, http://www.unklenancy.webs.com/
