The UNLV Polar Bear Club is a student organization at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, whose purpose is to help promote local music.
Started by the group The Polar Bear MC's (aka The Killa Korpse Gangstaz) to promote theirselves, the club decided to extend their efforts to promote all local music.
Now, after months of planning, The UNLV Polar Bear Club "Support Your F***'n Local Scene" Compilation is here, featuring some of the best in Las Vegas's local music scene.
By coming together as a scene, hopefully the whole Las Vegas music scene can grow and become a breeding ground for succesful musicians... and finally get some all ages venues...

Are the Polar Bear MC’s the next Eminem? Is Negative pH the next Crystal Method? Does GDB remind you of No Doubt before they decided mindless pop was cooler than ska? You may never know unless you get your hands on this f***ing killer compilation. The way I see it, you have two choices: You can go out and get each one of these band’s Cds and try to listen to all of them at once like “Data” on Star Trek- and trust me you can’t because you are not an android no matter what you say. Or you can make things easier for all of us and get this fantastic compilation. So go on, see for yourself if bands like The Dirty Panties are worth all that funky odor. Is Infa Red the best music to roller skate to? Is Dirty Sanchez dirty enough to steal your sister’s bike? Should Vandelay Industries come up with a better name? All these secrets revealed and more for cheap or even free if you can steal it, but don’t steal it please. Remember this is a community thing- fucker!
