Album Notes

Twenty-eight-year-old singer/songwriter Brooke Wright can’t help but laugh when she explains about being unremarkable; how the name came about and how she celebrates being a child of God and the matchless grace that comes from embracing the idea of being ordinary, of being unremarkable.

“In a world that celebrates self-help, self-esteem, and self-righteousness,” Brooke admits, “My biggest battle was to drill down beneath the vanity on the surface and realize that the only thing that can and should be thought as good in me is what God accomplishes through me or inside me. The Greatness and Glory is His alone”

Brooke’s sound is soulful and genuine, with a timeless simplicity all its own. She stands on stage, an artist incapable of insincerity, confidently yet humbly sharing her songs that chronicle the intimate relationship between Brooke & her Savior.

Just emerging onto the music scene with her Debut Album, Angels Exist, Brooke has been singing her whole life. She had a heart for the Lord and began singing hymns in front of audiences at age 4.

Since that time, Brooke graduated to writing her own songs but still loves to sing hymns in her own unique style. One of the fan favorites is her rendition of “His Eye is on the Sparrow” which Brooke has sung at multiple churches in the area. The emotion filled song always brings a chill when Brooke lets her voice cry out to her God & Savior “I sing because I’m happy/ I sing because I’m free”.

“I believe there’s one thing we all share, the longing to be known,” Brooke says. “If I can encourage someone else to realize even in your brokenness, you are known and loved perfectly by God”.
