Album Notes

Ken Clark's third CD establishes him as one of the truly unique voices in modern rock.

He performs an eclectic range of songs in the vein of Warren Zevon and Randy Newman. From the outlandish "Love's A Strange, Strange Thing" to the pop style "I Got My Heart Out" the Latin rhythms of "Soul Devotion" the hard rock of "Smokin' In The House" and the ethereal "Perfect Imperfection", Ken Clark's compositions are musical short stories peopled by an odd array of characters confronting the bizarreness of ordinary life. His lyrical arsenal includes humor, sentiment, menace, and general weirdness, all of which he blends in his distinctive way.

Contributing to the CD are long-time collaborator Dr. John M. Williams on percussion.

Sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, Ken Clark displays a wide range of original songs which are surprising to hear and musically interesting.
