Unveil Your Love -- A Collection of Songs, is the 2004 collaboration between lyricist Paul Golubovs and composer John Sokoloff. Utilizing the talents of a variety of singers and instrumental combinations they have crafted a remarkably cohesive and compelling work.
From the quiet desperation of the waitress in "White Apron", the familial love of father and son in "Family Farm", the loss of a loved one in "Until I Finally Find You" (a.k.a. "The Dirge" -- which personalizes the tragic loss of lives on 9/11) to a celebration of today's under-appreciated teachers in "The Teacher", Unveil Your Love runs the emotional gamut.
Honest and compelling, these voices all speak directly to the different shades of our human condition. There is unity in the diversity....
The project is the debut release for lyricist Paul Golubovs.
John Sokoloff's past work has included composing for the CBS Television Network (The Bonnie Hunt Show -- Worldwide Pants Productions), and producing and releasing four CDs of his instrumental music. John's music has been played on radio and television in the US and overseas.
Among the vocalists on Unveil Your Love are Michelle Featherstone (whose singing has recently been featured on the prime-time television series Alias and Smallville); Mark Lennon of the well-known musical Lennon family and rock group Venice; Jo Anne Kurman, Discovery Award winner; and James Intveld who has shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen, Merle Haggard and who has contributed vocals to a Bob Dylan album.
