Rene Urbanovich LIVE is a nostalgic experience in music, reminiscent of dinner theatre and forties fun! All originals, but with the familiarity of covers! The c.d takes the listener from smooth jazz with rich harmonies and jiving chords to an all out screamin' blues sax and vocal duet that strips the paint off the walls. Rene and her band are veterans of the L.A. music industry and their passion for music is palpable. Even through the format of electronics, listeners connect with the intensity and energy of the songs. This set is like no other. Following the live perormance in which the c.d. was recorded, one audience member said, "I don't know which I liked better, the songs or the singer!" Rene recorded the c.d. as a fund raiser for her community service outreach, With Song, which brings arts and music therapy to rehab centers, hospitals, churches and schools for the purpose of soulful, artful living.
