Album Notes

Welcome to the critically acclaimed first release of the HipHop organization called Urban Underground®.

Urban Underground® started as an idea in the mind of Keith 'KDubbs' Williams to provide high quality music and clean crisp production at affordable rates to widely unknown talent from Bay Area Black Communities.

Having subscribed to the "Paris- the black panther of hiphop" East Coast flavored style of HipHop production, gleaned from hanging out at the Bill Graham Presents supported Recording studio called H.O.S.. which Paris was a huge part of in his early years, KDubbs decided to record talent with various pieces of gear aquired as H.O.S. and Paris 'retired' various pieces of recording gear. He took these pieces and setup shop in Menlo Park (near East Palo Alto, Ca.). He decided to record various unknown MC's from around the bay and put out a recording to garner 'name recognition' within the burgeoning HipHop community.

This release gained widespread acclaim in the bay area underground and went on to sell over 12k units.

The Talent brought to light with this release is as follows:

Spaztik Emcee aka Mark Spitz, March the Fifth, Ghazi, & Shade from the group Quantum Flux out of San Mateo, Ca.

SRR, X-Man, Lucky and Skribble out of Oakland, Ca.

KiddX, DJ Rhythm, One Tyme, Mad Furter and Rasta from East San Jose, Ca.

Plado (of Twisted Mind Kidz) and JP Nebres (courtesy of Classified Records) also of San Jose, Ca.

Freddie Riddeau and Natural Flava out of East Palo Alto, Ca.

Tarashi and Moon out of Richmond, Ca.

Hannibal Adofo out of Menlo Park, Ca.

Keith 'KDubbs' Williams of East San Jose, Ca.
