They all use music and illustrations to enhance the learning abilities of today's youth.

One of the hardest things for a teacher to do is to teach a subject to students that are not interested and can not relate with the subject being taught. The desire to explore a subject that has no apparent connection to the student just won't happen on its own. The Subject must become interesting.

It has been scientifically proven that music enhances the ability to learn. For instance, when a child is in the process of learning the alphabet, he/she will learn faster if music is identified with learning. The ability to retain more information about the alphabet is increased when music is added.

Churchouse Records has developed a Biblical education CD on its label that promotes Christian entertainment and education called the "Urban Series Bible Story Collection". This project portrays a contemporary dramatic rendition of the story of David and Goliath.

The purpose is to promote CLEAN AND EXCITING entertainment while presenting biblical understanding, by using the combination of today's language and music along with Illustrations and scriptural references.

This project is designed to make the Bible become more real to the youth ranging from ages 2-12, consequently stimulating a deep thirst to learn more about God's Word, a greater understanding of events, names and places.

The story of David and Goliath is part of a 6 set series which will feature other favorite characters from the Bible. This series of Cds confront these two main issues, interest and memory. First it tackles the issue of Interest, by using a style of music that today's youth can identify with and language that the youth can relate to. The beats and melodies allow youth to be receptive and interested in the message that is being presented.

Secondly this series has added Illustrations, Scripture References, a Map and a time line to capitalize on the youth's peaked interest in the Biblical Accounts of David, Goliath, King Saul and Samuel the Prophet. This story as well as the others that will follow have been verified by scripture and are designed to help youth develop a love for God's Word.

It is also being presented to and reviewed by other youth targeted agencies around the world.
