Album Notes

When technology and industry turned popular music into a predictable bland product, independent artists began creating their own music. Usward had its beginnings at
the end of the cassette tape culture days--just before
the internet became available.

Artist J. Wander is the producer of Usward Music and Mindwander Cartoons.

The music Usward has recorded consists of interpretations
of the sounds and music received on Professor Grid's
"electro-interspace audio-visual radio" called the
"Dreamwander Doorway."

The world of Scientist and Inventor Professor Grid:

Professor Grid has a laboratory where he carries out various experiments--both practical and impractical. He also has a gallery where he displays images, seen on the above mentioned machine, which are drawn by artist J. Wander. Orchestra leader Les Beat and avant-garde artist Desi Belle collaberated to help create the Usward musical experiments.
This music is from worlds only dimly perceived in our nighttime dreams.
