Growing out of the soil of Skanderborg, Denmark, without a clubscene, but with a ever growing festival, that has expanded drastically from a small hippie-festival in the woods, to one of Denmarks best brand festivals, besides Roskilde Festival.
At the same time UTAH have had time to focus on their own music in their own studio and rehearsal room - spawning into more than just a band from the backwoods.
Inspirations
It starts with a stream of conscience, with words coming to mind as you think them, creating fragmented scenery of the world, with all its guts and glory.
The lyrics are often commentaries to themselves, discussing the allegations that come to Jesper Both's mind, reflecting on what could be behind it all.
As a listener you will have to draw your own conclusions from the cut up lyrics, combined with your own situation or stand on the issues of the world today.

I saw Utah in concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan at a small brewery and they blew my mind. The album capture the same feel. Outstanding vocals.

I sure waited for this CD to come out commercionally in Germany, but never thought of buying it from you.
Not that it had been a very easy ordering. The way you confirmed my order was exceptionally nice and so I printed that and showed it to some of my friends.
Please tell anybody who waved byebye that I'm very pleased of this kind to get a CD.
If you might be able to send me an offer for the new Interpol-CD which is due to come out in July, I would rather buy it from you than from any other German store.
Maybe you have an offer available...
Thank you very much,
it's been a pleasure,
p.s.: As right now it is "pledge-time" at KEXP (www.kexp-org), I'd ask you you to triple the price of this new Interpol-music to support the broadcast where I received so much and at least found your company.

Anxiously awaiting more

This is a solid release. UTAH has the grab and vision to emerge as a contender in the mix. I could put track 3 on repeat for a week and never tire of hearing it. I can't wait to hear more.
