ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
True Confessions CD
Uvee Hayes
Mission Park CD # 1956
Since creating such excitement with her previous CD Play Something Pretty, Uvee Hayes is back with a set of new recordings and new renditions of an array of tunes that portrays her energy, originality, and spirit.
Uvee has a passionate voice and the way she delivers her skill is irresistible. With this array of songs conducted and arranged by Tom Tom MMLXXXIV, Uvee reveals how powerfully and pervasively the human voice shapes our expectations of talent and creativity. This is unmistakable with her new adaptation of “There’ll Come a Time”.
Her empathetic style and reassuring messages vividly convey the power of her marvelous singing voice, which is so distinct and clear. She has proved over and over again her ability to adapt in the ever-changing entertaining industry.
Uvee is a brilliant artistic woman who took up an extraordinary challenge and is changing the world of soul, southern blues, jazz and modern music. Steppers will especially appreciate her fervor and zeal as she passionately delivers the loving message on ‘Someone to Believe In”.
As on Play Something Pretty, Uvee again teams up with the unique talent of soul master Otis Clay to perform a duet on Luther Ingram’s ‘Steal Away to the Hideaway’. Their emotions have once again become the focus of imagination and desire.
Happiness is an emotion that is generated when you feel that you have fulfilled a desire and True Confessions will leave you accelerated, accepted and astounded. She really outdoes herself on “Don’t Come Running Back To Me”.
For your added pleasure, Uvee is issuing a brand new variation of the song Luther and Jacqui Ingram wrote for her, “He’s My Man”, featuring Patrice Hytower performing a mind blowing rap, that is perfect for those who love to SLIDE;, and as a bonus, she has added the original version that features Stevie Wonder on harmonica and Don Myrick, of Earth,Wind and Fires’ Phenix Horns on tenor. And Phenix is not a misspelling.
Enjoy Uvee Hayes who with her unique voice and extraordinary talent, delivers passionate, ecstatic, joyful and loving messages with an assortment of True Confessions.
