Album Notes

An Uplifting New Genre!
Reviewer: Gil, January 8, 2003
Steve calls his style "heart rock", which certainly seems to fit his music like a glove. It not only comes from the heart of the composer, but goes straight into the heart of the listener, and remindes one of the "all" that is bigger than us. His music and lyrics will touch and bring out your mystical side, the part of you that recognizes the divinity in all of us, and the inherent love permeating the universe. It will remind you that we are spiritual beings, and that we have a direct connection to the Divine. The gentle melodies and soaring guitar work is reminiscent of late Pink Floyd (I think so anyway), while the underlying message of love and mysticism will uplift you to a higher dimension. I have a feeling that we will be seeing more artists in the future with the desire to use the power of music to help people transcend their limiting worldviews and distorted perceptions while bringing them renewed vitality and fresh perspectives on what it means to be alive. Steve is definitely one of the trailblazers of this new movement, and his music will rock your heart!

A Fantastic Melody
Reviewer: Fanlinhua from Huizhou, China, February 13, 2000
When I heard the song first time ,I was fully attacted by its pleasantly and gentlely rhythm.I seemed like a 18-year-old young man, although I'm over thirty years of age.

"...Dedicated to raising human consciousness through music and media"

Steve Vaile's passion is music, so everything this Pacific Northwest native does pretty much connects in some way to music and the music business (whether producing his original music or other artists). Steve was born into a musical family. His mother sang opera and his dad was a lap-steel guitar player in a country band. That was an interesting combination growing up.

Steve resides in Portland, Oregon, and has lived and played music from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oahu and Maui to Quito, Ecuador.
His venues of performance include college campuses, America's Bicentennial Celebration rock festival at Diamond Head Crater in Hawaii, and even a cathedral in South America. He has played concerts for Whales and dolphins with underwater speakers and hydrophones using a white grand piano on the deck of the 65' schooner, 'The Searunner', for John Perry's 'Save The Whales' film off the coast of Maui. While living in Los Angeles for the film's post-production recording, many concerts were given in Southern California, including the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium featuring Paul Horn.

Based in Portland, Steve continues to operate his project studio, developing music for film, video, CD releases and upcoming performances.

Steve's recent releases:

STEVE VAILE: War Or Peace Prayer For The Soldiers
STEVE VAILE: What About You
STEVE VAILE: What About You (vocal single)
