Album Notes

The rock symphony “War Or Peace Prayer For The Soldiers” is dedicated with Love and Gratitude to those brave heroes present, past and future serving to protect us at home and abroad. “War Or Peace Prayer For The Soldiers” was my personal refuge to look for answers to peace through music. The playing time is approximately 12 minutes and the soundtrack for a film currently in development. I felt moved to release this musical message at this time.

War Or Peace Prayer For The Soldiers
Composed and produced by Steve Vaile
CP 2005 Steve Vaile International ASCAP

The troops are lining up you see
Both sides want victory
We can take this light open and see
A heart wrapped around you and me
Come along with me

Chorus: Who do you love?
Are they looking right into your face
Who do you love?
It seems like oh so long since our embrace
This is a prayer for the soldiers

It’s our chance to lead
Our great destiny
All men free
Living in harmony
Come along with me

Chorus: Who do you love?
Are they looking right into your face
Who do you love?
It seems like oh so long since our embrace
This is a prayer for the soldiers

Bridge: I see your light
I feel your heart
I know what you want to be
Now with you, here in love, we are set free

It’s our time, it’s our place
We stand aligned in peace
It’s our time, it’s our place
We stand aligned in grace
Come along with me

Chorus: Who do you love?
Are they looking right into your face
Who do you love?
It seems like oh so long since our embrace
This is a prayer for the soldiers

Before the human race
Expires and dis-integrates
We can pass this test
It’s the biggest yet
Come along with me

Chorus: Who do you love?
Are they looking right into your face
Who do you love?
It seems like oh so long since our embrace
This is a prayer for the soldiers

Bridge: I see your light
I feel your heart
I know what you want to be
Now with you, here in love, we are set free
We are set free, we are set free

We’re free
This is a prayer for the soldiers

Steve Vaile International

"...Dedicated to raising human consciousness through music and media"

Steve Vaile's passion is music, so everything this Pacific Northwest native does pretty much connects in some way to music and the music business (whether producing his original music or other artists). Steve was born into a musical family. His mother sang opera and his dad was a lap-steel guitar player in a country band. That was an interesting combination growing up.

Steve resides in Portland, Oregon, and has lived and played music from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oahu and Maui to Quito, Ecuador.
His venues of performance include college campuses, America's Bicentennial Celebration rock festival at Diamond Head Crater in Hawaii, and even a cathedral in South America. He has played concerts for Whales and dolphins with underwater speakers and hydrophones using a white grand piano on the deck of the 65' schooner, 'The Searunner', for John Perry's 'Save The Whales' film off the coast of Maui. While living in Los Angeles for the film's post-production recording, many concerts were given in Southern California, including the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium featuring Paul Horn.

Based in Portland, Steve continues to operate his project studio, developing music for film, video, CD releases and upcoming performances.
