I first heard Val Davis' "Texas Sky" at garageband.com. I had to look for more from this artist. Found the Immortal CD, listend to an addtional track or two and purchased it immediately.
Power, grace, acoustic chops galore, and a songwriting style that grabs and holds. And lets not forget a voice that combines the best from Steven Stills and Peter Gabriel.
I continue to be blown away by the talent in the independent music 'industry.' Val Davis has just shot to the top of my list.
