Album Notes

Valeze was the brainchild of lead singer Tiff Randol, who is now releasing solo material. Valeze was a Brooklyn based DIY balls to the wall band known for their DIY attitude and ability to create an underground scene in NY with their CIRCUS PARTY. Valeze's EP “Go Go Go!” was produced by Nic Hard (Bravery, Aberdeen City, The Church). They performed on Good Day NY, Fox TV’s Fearless Music, the prestigious GBH party at Hiro Ballroom, independently toured the Northeast, West Coast, and Canada; shared the stage with bands like the Samples, American Minor, Diamond Nights, and the Redwalls; and have been sponsored by Eventide, Sam Ash, Garnier Fructis, and Amp Energy/Mountain Dew. www.valeze.net

“Valeze has got their feet firmly planted in Blondie’s footsteps. Fronted by classically-trained Tiffany Randol, this band (with their frenetic breakdowns and breathy vocals) will take you right back to Studio 54!” — NY Press

“The spunkiest frontwoman this side of Stefani” and “Dance Punk Revivalists” — Village Voice

"It's inevitable. If you're a rock band that's fronted by a sexy female - comparisons to No Doubt and Blondie are par for the course. Enter Valeze, the New York based punk rock group with the stunning Tiffany Randol on the lead vocals. MF caught up with Ms. Randol, and found out exactly what makes her tick." - Men's Fitness Magazine

HX Magazine "seen and heard" section
"Friday night was all about Area at Don Hill's for a triple birthday celebration for Formika, Michael T and Peppermint. Deborah Harry - who wasn't feeling fresh enough to have her pic taken - paid her respects, as did glam-punk outfit Valeze with their smokin' six-song set... Seen: DJs Jonjon Battles and Steve Sidewalk, Jeff Chiola, Shawn Thompson, Joey Cee, Christian Diaz, Tommy Ritter, Perfidia, Sherry Vine, Marec, Miss Guy, Ericka Toure Aviance, Epiphany, Logan, Acid Betty, LT, Jonny McGovern, Kevin Kiss, Will Wikle and lots of ladyboys in wigs.

MP3 Band Of The Week - about.com
OK, I realize I have been lax at posting an "MP3 Band of the Week" every week as of late, so I guess I am faced with two options. I can either let the feature quietly slide into obscurity, or I can bring it back with a great song from a really great band. Guess which one I chose?... [read entire article]

"Valeze plays up the dirty rock & roll card pretty well, with sass mouth vocals and the sweat stains to match." — Buzzgrinder.com

Brooklyn Rocks says "Go, Go, Go! which combines Clash-style riffs with Dale Bozio vocals."

The Digital Music Weblog says "the pinnacle of 1986 Glam crossed with modern sensibilities."

Queerty.com — "We came across this video for their track "Go Go Go". Reminiscent of early Blondie, it's definitely got a sound we dig... we definitely encourage you, our darling and oh-so-cultured readers, to give 'em a twirl. Who knows, you too could fall in love with vocalist Tiffany Randol. (And, of course, the boys are pretty cute.)"

TheDeliMagazine.com
Valeze hits the ground running with wailing guitars, catchy lyrics, and a fast-paced beat. They are led by Tiffany Randol, a girl with vocal chords so powerful they come with their own surgeon's general warning.

REVIEWS

Great, but short!

This would have gotten 5 stars if they hadn't included two versions of "Liar" (the regular and then the PG-13 version). I would have been happier with a new song instead of the PG-13 version of "Liar." Regardless, I really enjoyed this CD, I just wish it would have been longer. I hope Valeze will release a full album at some point.
