I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS CD.  Here Goes SOMEthing is a CD full of what is missing from the radio airwaves today; strong music you can listen to, covering several genres of music.  I would have to listen to 3 or 4 different radio stations to catch all the styles of music on this CD.  What's more, Vance Brescia knows what he is doing in each genre on this CD.

Vance Brescia gives us an excellent combination and balance of music and lyrics on each of these 13 songs.  "I'm In Love Again", "I Know A Secret", "Say Goodbye", "Diana", "Falling Angel", "Corner of the World", and "If I'm Lucky" all belong on the charts.  "I'd Love To Love You", "Take It Easy On Us", "Daddy Gimme Your Daughter" and "I Hold Back Nothing" are argueably chart songs as well.  What's left on the CD after those is music that will certainly have their share of fans.  The more I listen to this CD the better I like it.  I find even my least favorite songs on this CD grow and improve.  To me, that's the sign of a hit CD and a very talented singer / songwriter.

I want people to buy Here Goes SOMEthing, return here, then share your comments.  I want to know if others find these songs as excellent as I do.  Vance Brescia put a lot into Here Goes SOMEthing.  Vance shows me he understands Rock/Disco/Easy Listening/Ballads/Blues equally well.  You have to hear this voice, the lyrics, and the musical talent of Vance to truly appreciate how good Vance is at making quality music.  Vance shows intelligence and knowledge of musical history, while being 21st. Century.  I look forward to hearing more of Vance Brescia's music, whatever genre or genres Vance may cover in the future.  As I said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CD!  I am not joking.  I think if you buy and listen to Here Goes SOMEthing, you will like this CD.  At worst, I feel you will find 3 or 4 songs you will like based on the variety of genres on this CD.  Buy it, download it, but get it!  Or as a TV ad once said about a cereal:  "Try it; you'll like it.  Maybe we can get this kind of music back on the radio.  It's great music by a very talented singer / songwriter.  Thanks for reading my praise of this CD.  I can't help it; I have to praise Here Goes SOMEthing.
