R.J. Vandygriff is a real cowboy, recognized around the world as one of the best western singers to ride down the trail in a long while.

He is an award winning singer/songwriter/poet who lives the life of the cowboy everyday on the high plains of the Texas panhandle when he is not performing concerts or the one man musical comedy play, “The Cowboy Ain’t Dead Yet!”. R.J. has appeared at western music festivals and gatherings from Elko, NV. to Lubbock, TX. and in theaters from Branson to New York to London. He handles a song and a guitar as
well as he handles a horse and a rope.

Nashville producer, Ronny Light gathered the best pickers in Music City to play the hottest licks on these sessions. DJ’s one and all agree this is by far one of the best cowboy CD’s ever recorded. Volume II has something for everyone from tender ballads, to western swing to great western classics like “Back In The Saddle Again”. Joe Texas adds some of his best saying as well.
