REVIEWS

Dane Vannatter is in a league of his own
author: Bob Levy, Songwriter
Dane Vannatter is in a league of his own when it comes to contemporary jazz vocalists. His sound is pure, intimate and natural with an ease that seems almost effortless. He has impeccable taste in the songs he records and performs. A diverse collection of standards and new standards from the Great American Songbook. Ballads, bossas, swing...he excels at them all. He feels the music deeply and effortlessly communicates those feelings to his adoring audience. It's no surprise that he's been compared to Mel Torme. Double Standards is a CD that's a 'must have' in your jazz collection.
