VanSwan White is no ordinary twenty-one year old. At the early age of three, he was singing and directing the Saint Timothy Community Church choir in San Bernardino, California where his family attended. On the path to a possible mainstream singing career in his mid-teens, he resubmitted his life to Christ, and at the age of 18 chose to honor the fact that his musical abilities were indeed a gift from God. From that moment forward, VanSwan moved on with the sole purpose of spreading the message of Jesus Christ through music and song.
His debut solo album MY STORY is captivating listeners from California to Connecticut. This contemporary album, with its smooth melodic tones, spreads the good news of Jesus Christ for a whole new generation to enjoy. VanSwan, the executive producer of this project (who also wrote or co-wrote all of the songs) uses My STORY to discuss the physical, mental and spiritual challenges in his own life. His goal is to let a new generation know and older generations affirm that in spite of it all, you can make it….with God’s help.

Love this CD - it was great! Not your usually gospel CD. Had more of a modern day tempo, which is what I enjoyed and appreciated the most.

This is one of the most refreshing albums in gospel that i've heard in a LONG TIME. It doesn't sound like any other gospel CD out there right now. This Brother put his heart and soul into each of these tracks. You can HEAR IT CLEARLY! The vocals are simply incredible. The tracks and production are TOP NOTCH. The lyrics give you something to think about. If you long for that OLE SKOOL CROONER, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS CD. This project has got to be in your collection if you call yourself a true music lover...
