Vaudeville's second album, the 2002 release "Skits of Phonic", contains such heady subjects as "heavy gravity" and unhealthy obsession, balanced with songs about optimism and blind love.
With an emphasis on melody and vocals, Todd, Michelle, Ajahn, Nate, and Howard (or Tom, Melissa, John, Pete, and Harold for those not paying attention) create a musical travelogue of three-part harmonies and thought-provoking lyrics. Pack your bags.
Described as electric folk, power folk and soul rock, Vaudeville's music has been compared to such bands as Counting Crows, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls and Train.
Discover Vaudeville for yourself.
Sincerely,
Tom, Melissa, John, Pete, and Harold

Sincere gushing over a great CD.

Great CD! The songs are positive and fun. The lyrics can be heard, understood and are poetic. I play it in the mornings to start my day off right and get my brain charged and ready to go. I'm eagerly waiting for the next one... get busy! (I'd gush more, but they said to keep it short) And of course CDBABY has awesome customer service. (OK, one more gush)

better than Peter, Paul and Mary, way better than Red Bull

Skits of Phonic is a joy to listen to. You can appreciate the music and the lyrics at the same time. The vocals are great and the whole CD seems well produced. It is great to find original music that picks me up instead of making me run for painkillers. I would buy more music from this band.
