Canadiana Striptease brings to mind 80's sounds from Delta 5, Tom Tom Club, Chris and Cosey and Lilliput. Like the previous 3 Vav Jungle CD's, Canadiana Striptease offers the joy only a girl band can bring. Canadian Striptease is a mature and at times gritty electro-pop jaunt fused with Eve's lilting and unique vocals, Walter Wanderly-esque organs riffs, and chubby techno-funk rhythms.
Televisionless is a hit and I'd like to see it mixed and twisted to within an inch of it's life and show up on dancefloors. Fake Fur Pile is hot and grungy and bangs out deep bass and dirty rhythms. This Can't Happen is skanky and slutty...and kind of tragic. It's definetly encore material. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I know Vav Jungle has yet to reach its peak.

Amazing Electronic Dance music

Every track is hot on this CD. I bought it not knowing what to expect and I was hit with groovy dance rhythms and weird, wonderful female vocals. I especially liked "Televisionles" for its dancefloor appeal and catchy lyrics. All in all this is a really sexy CD and I can't wait to get more from Vav Jungle!
