Album Notes

Vaya is a hard working band that interlocks stirring guitars, strong melodies and powerful drums with a passionate understanding of what rock is all about. Formed in the spring of 2004, the Atlanta based band is a cohesive mix of talented songwriters that lives, eats and breaths their music.

Finding musical inspiration as disparate as GlassJaw, Coheed & Cambria Saves the Day, Johnny Marr, and The Dillinger Escape Plan, Vaya has found its own niche in the world and shares that with their growing legion of fans.

In the fall of 2004 the band released their independent demo "Be One Bee", and immediately began gathering in fans from all across the country through the introduction of the music on the internet. In support of the release, Vaya has toured the Southeast and mid-Atlantic extensively over the last year. The touring has allowed the band to reach out to the many loyal fans that embrace their song craft and high energy stage shows.

Vaya recently completed recording their new independent CD, “I Am The Caveman”. Produced by critically acclaimed and Grammy nominated Matt Goldman (Copeland, Cartel, Underoath), the CD release date - January 16, 2006.
