Album Notes

Get Your Angry on!

VeinCage rears its ugly head again...and unloads on you. VeinCage began as the solo project of Peter DiNardi in 1988 (then front man/guitarist for speed/grind core outfit Bonetree) Hardcore-influenced guitar style and syncopated electro/industrial rhythms became the hallmark sound of VeinCage. VeinCage was quickly ranked among the pioneering wave of US industrial/hardcore bands during the late 80’s and early 90’s. They gained a dedicated American following with high-intensity live shows and independent demo-releases, plus popular college radio singles such as “Ego-Testicle”. Their popularity grew with the international release of the acclaimed and influential 1993 album Feral Din, via electronic label Axis Records (USA/GERMANY). DiNardi’s earliest works are name-checked alongside the likes of Ministry, KMFDM and Nine Inch Nails, as major influences on countless electronic and industrial artists from around the globe.
