Album Notes

"An intoxicating blend of influences that evokes images of California surf, the dark gothic architecture of Eastern Europe, Nevada desert wastelands and Louisiana swamp mist, Vegas Beach has a sound that is truly theirs alone."
Rick Monroe, Dark Times Magazine

"...richly echoed lead guitar and solid rounded bass... This is an album to drift away to - so lay back and enjoy."
Alan Taylor, editor of Pipeline Magazine

Vegas Beach is the latest project from Ricky Las Vegas, cofounder of the Vampire Beach Babes. Formed from the ranks of now legendary New World Disorder, the boys from Vegas Beach are the self proclaimed pioneers of 'surf noir'. On their first album Dark Side of the Beach, recorded live in only a few hours, the boys continue to experiment with the quirky mix of the surf and gothic genres that defines the Beach Babes style. But Vegas Beach have brought a variety of other influences into the mix, creating soundscapes that slip effortlessly between the dark and the light.

Tracks from this ground breaking album have been in regular rotation on XM satellite radio and have been used in several feature films.

So come on in and give it a listen, and welcome to the Dark Side Of The Beach.
