Full of texture and energy

Unsmashable Records released Vegas in Flames’ Despite the World CD a few weeks ago. The band plays catchy, but deep, indie pop. Their music is full of texture and energy. There are elements of early Seattle emo bands like Hush Harbor in Vegas in Flames’ music. I like the intensity those leanings bring to the band’s music, especially with songs that really build in energy and occasionally have almost screamed vocals, like the first track, “Weight of the World.” More noise is never a bad thing.
