Album Notes

A collaboration of long time friends and musical trouble makers Pater Dysparia and Mark Alan Miller, Feral Din was a melding of their differing and similar tastes in music and aesthetics. As Pater's (Peter DiNardi) long-running musical outlet that continues to this day, Vein Cage played by the 'there are no rules' set of rules when it came to the making of Feral Din. It at once embraces and mocks the very forms in which it is forged, both lauding and laughing at themselves, the world, and the 'scene' in which they found themselves immersed, DiNardi and Miller let the venom and fury fly, but also tried to have a good laugh while at it. The result is a landmark record that enjoys cult status to this day, and while sometimes sounding somewhat dated now, still shows what a force it was then.
The Radio Valkyrie Digital reissue of Feral Din adds two lost tracks to the list, the early demos 'Rail' and 'Strychnine'. (The original hidden bonus CD track, the 1/2 hour 'Night Music', is available only on the orignal CD right now...)
