Album Notes

In 2002, in the small southern UK town of Petersfield, Nik, SI, Steve, Russ and Dave brought their individual talents together to form the Southern Rock/Metal band Vallenbrosa. Inspired by a wide range of metal influences including Tool, Metallica, Pantera, Black Label Society and Down, the bands individual distinctive styles meld together to create a Heavy Metal sound that some say they haven’t heard since the early days of Metal

Their demo album "Silenced" was self released in 2004 and relentless gigging followed for the next couple of years which saw them play with the likes of Breed 77,Exit 10,The Inbreds, Malefice and Sepultura. In 2006 Vallenbrosa took time out to write and record their self released debut album "HESSIAN MERCENARIES". The progression of their music was evident in 2006 once their new album started receiving heavy rotation on a number of internet radio stations.

In 2007 Vallenbrosa once again received the honor of supporting Metal Icons, Sepultura, on the UK leg of their Dante XXI Summer World Tour. With the word of their talented music style spreading quickly,Vallenbrosa pushed forward, concentrating on building their fan base through gigging and by recruiting the talents of a few fans to help them build an army of Street Teams. In the summer of 2007, Vallenbrosa was invited to play September's Watchout Festival in Parma, Italy. With their successful performances at the 2007 festival, and being invited to play again in 2008, they proved that they have international appeal.

In the summer of 2008, Vallenbrosa took time out to record their second album in the studio of Pete Miles. Armed with their new management, new tracks, and a dedicated army Street Teams, Vallenbrosa are looking forward to breaking through the barriers, kicking adversity right in the face and taking their music to the metal fans of the world for years to come.
