I have had the extremely great good fortune to come along in my life from my restless 30s to powerful 60s with Velma Frye and her music.  Take Heart is my all time favorite.  I keep it in my car, and play it more frequently than any other CD I own, including Gillian Welch--that is saying something!  She is a consummate musician, a creative force, and a beautiful soul.  Sometimes I step back and say: how did I get so lucky to have the real Velma as the soundtrack to my life?  You can be that lucky, too--check out Take Heart!
