Album Notes

We are in a time where society no longer has anything innovative, hip, or cool. Real music and originality seem to be a thing of the past. Let's not forget "American Idol" stamping out plastic singers in their pop song factory. But now we are on the verge of a cataclysmic event. Earthquakes, buildings crumble; everything is reduced to debris and rubble. Who is this we see emerging from the ruins? Could they be new Rock N Roll Revolutionaries? "The Velvematics" are here to save the world from bubblegum pop music and the same ole' same ole'. Donned in all black leather with Switchblades, they look like characters pulled off the screen of a Quinton Tarentino movie meets James Dean "Rebel Without a Cause". Their sound is like Link Wray jamming with the AC/DC and Johnny Cash with a taste of greasy dixie fried chicken. It's in your face larger than life; they know how to rock but haven't forgotten the roll. Formed in 2004 by Singer/Guitarist Jonnie Vincenzo and Bassist Russell Bombik then adding rip roaring guitarist Dave Romweber and Drummer extraordinaire John Carr The Velvematics are poised to take the world by the throat and bring it to a new Rock N Roll Revolution. Their new Album "Black Leather Rebel 2010" will be released very soon. This band is set to take over the world and convert everyone into Rock and Roll Revolutionaries! These guys are the sons of Cleveland's Blue Collar worker...they will stop at nothing to get to the TOP! .. .. .
