Nichol Veneé Eskridge, has joined forces with her husband, siblings & friends to create a new powerfully anointed praise & worship CD that is sure to take its listeners on a God-encounter. The first song "I Came To Praise The Lord," is an upbeat song that will move the listener to praise the Lord by clapping their hands, stomping their feet and lifting their voices in excuberant praise. The CD continues down the path of praise with the second song "Jehovah Is Here," featuring magnificent keyboards, strong bass lines, and power-packed drum tracks with mighty vocals. The CD moves into the third song, a long-standing staple in worship, "I Surrender All," that reminds you of its beauty, and pushes you over the edge with a contemporary twinge. The song's distinct vocals are piercing to the soul as they blend with such force and harmonic grace. The forth song surely to be one of the highlights of this CD is the title cut "Only By The Spirit," that starts with an "Oh" call to the Holy Spirit, imbedded with ethnic rhythms of drums and congas, and vocal chants of power, healing, and fire that comes only by the Spirit! The fifth song, "I Will Acknowledge You/T'is So Sweet," reveals one of God's truly anointed psalmists as her vocals ascend to heaven and descend to reach an earthly realm with strong convictions and life-changing exhortation. To the inner man and woman this song compels us to acknowledge God in all our ways, seeking soley His will no matter what we are going through. Next "In The Father's Hand," is a wonderful song that depicts that our answers for healing, breakthrough and deliverance are in God's hands. The last song "Sing of Your Mercy," has a light and upbeat Latin jazz flavor. It tells the story of God's endless grace and mercy. The CD is filled with powerful vocals, excellent musician craftmanship, and a stamp of God's approval by the releasing of His yoke-breaking anointing. Produced by Phillip L.
