Venice
Venice is a band comprised of two sets of brothers, Michael and Mark Lennon and Pat and Kipp Lennon. They are cousins who were born and raised in Venice Beach, California and they have been a staple on the California Club scene for years. They are known for their incredible 4 part harmonies and live shows. David Crosby has hailed Venice as...
"the best vocal group in the country".
Venice has toured or recorded with the following artists:
Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Stevie Nicks, Warren Zevon, Phil Collins, Sting and Cher, just to name a few.
In these days of lipsyncing and commercial manufacturing of artist and music, Venice is a breath of fresh air. Writing songs and performing live is what they do best. Just watch their live DVD, "Venice, Live at the Royal Carre Theater" and you'll see how real this band is.
They recently returned from a sold out tour in Europe and they plan on focusing their attention on the U.S. in 2006. The Southern California sound is back with a new face and a new but familiar sound.

This album may be titled 'garage demos' but the quality is superb. Great versions of Circus in Town & World upon my back. Recomended to everyone (along with all their other officially released cd's).

What Are You Waiting For???
author: Robert J. Spear
This album is said to be a demos recorded, in some cases, only a week after the songs were written. If there are any rough edges, believe me, they don't show much. This album is heavy with great singing, great playing, and really great material. When it is in my player, I can't stop listening to it. In my humble opinion, the songs on this album are better by far than any of the suppressed, down-tempo stuff on Venice's other albums. Guys, it's been ten years. Do another one. What are you waiting for?

This material is another side of the guys. The talent of the whole band. I heard them live a number of years back in the O.C. playing soft and then this is what makes them so good. Faster paced sounds with a punch. Nice
