Album Notes

Venice

Venice is a band comprised of two sets of brothers, Michael and Mark Lennon and Pat and Kipp Lennon. They are cousins who were born and raised in Venice Beach, California and they have been a staple on the California Club scene for years. They are known for their incredible 4 part harmonies and live shows. David Crosby has hailed Venice as...
"the best vocal group in the country".

Venice has toured or recorded with the following artists:
Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Stevie Nicks, Warren Zevon, Phil Collins, Sting and Cher, just to name a few.

In these days of lipsyncing and commercial manufacturing of artist and music, Venice is a breath of fresh air. Writing songs and performing live is what they do best. Just watch their live DVD, "Venice, Live at the Royal Carre Theater" and you'll see how real this band is.

They recently returned from a sold out tour in Europe and they plan on focusing their attention on the U.S. in 2006. The Southern California sound is back with a new face and a new but familiar sound.

A lot of fun

This CD is a whole lot of fun. Great lyrics, harmonies and production. Its hard to liken Venice to other bands as they touch on a wide assortment of genres. I love the whole CD. I really appreciate "I'll keep my fingers crossed" as it has a very Steely Dan sound to it. Great job Venice! Southwest Missouri

Venice never disappoints!

The first time I saw Venice was when they opened for the Doobie Brothers and they ended up being the highlight of the evening! This CD continues with their tradition of solid albums full of rich vocal treasures . . . the kind of rare album where you don't skip a single song because they're all fabulous!
