Despite what some might believe, being a white emcee from Jersey is no easy task. The east coast is definitely the heart and soul of the hip-hop nation, with New York being the epicenter. However, NY`s neighbor to the south often gets overlooked when it comes to the rap game. With such names as Redman, the Outz, Naughty By Nature, & Chino XL to its credit, New Jeruz is slowly but surely redefining the culture as we speak. Enter Venom, straight out of Lakewood.
This up-and-coming emcee is ready to be added to that list of great artists who hail from the Garden State, and will be a household name by 2003. With his fiery lyrics and love for flowing, Venom brings a passion to the microphone that is uncontested. You can attribute V's street sound to his upbringing on the streets of Lakewood.
Though currently residing in Camden, Venom still reps for his hometown every time he grabs a mic, and promises to put L-Wood on the hip-hop map. Not just solo, tag-teamed with his partner in rhyme Intellect, Venom is a part of the super group known as Legacy. So if you haven't heard of Venom or Legacy by now, be prepared. because by the time he is done, Venom will be as synonymous with Jersey as the turnpike!
