Danger. its the driving force in the fabric of rock n roll music. Lurking in the soul of every artist is a fire, a passion to create- saying the things that cant be said, thinking the things that cant be thought. Now combine that fire with beauty and you have created a very explosive package.

Cut to venus 6 a new band out of LA. Venus 6 is fronted by guitarist/songwriter Joan Sceline. This statuesque beauty cut her teeth playing guitar at the tender age of 12. She has worked with top notch producers John and geza x and her previous band doppelganger, won critical acclaim for their album "meet your evil twin". A very accomplished guitar player and unique songwriter, Joan has now merged her talents with Laurie Es on bass and Andrea Kusten on drums. Both Musicians hail from New York City.

Together this trio assaults your senses. There is an urgency a sexual danger- a feast of melodic hooks, catchy choruses and a thunderous wall of sound. Sonic and sexual Melodic and Powerful,with a good dose of pop sensibilities they create something everyone craves, a new sound.

This new breed of modern rock has caught the ear of grammy Nominated producer Geza X, who is best known for his work with Meredith Brooks(Bitch). With Geza at the helm, venus 6 have recorded 10 new songs and plan to release their cd debut in early 2003.
