It's one thing to rock-hard, and Venus Bleeding does that, no prob - but it's quite another to do with the resonance that rings through "Fakelore".

The Oakland combo weaves together a spellbinding sound.

Venus Bleeding originated in Modesto, CA sometime in 1994, but can be currently found in Oakland, CA.

We've had the oppurtunity to perform at many great venues (mostly San Francisco) such as: the Fillmore, the Great American Music Hall, the Bottom of the Hill, Slim's, the Coco Club (R.I.P.), the Paradise Lounge, the Covered Wagon, El Rio, the DNA Lounge, the Justice League, Kimo's, Cocodrie (R.I.P.), the Gilman (Berkeley), the Berkeley Square (R.I.P.), the Stork Club (Oakland), the Usual (San Jose), the Cactus Club (San Jose), Art's Bar (Santa Barbara)

And we've had to pleasure to share the stage with amazing bands:
